In keeping with Mothers' Day, I felt it appropriate to publish the following 'praise report' which my wife, Andrea sent to her friend and fellow prayer partner, Suzette Hattingh.

Dear Suzette:
This is a praise report 20+ years in the making!
In 1989, my desire for a child led me to attend one of your prayer meetings in Frankfurt, Germany. I expressed my desire for a son, and after you prayed for me, you told me: "Get your knitting ready!"
Nine months later, my son, Peter was born. My husband and I dedicated him to God. Shortly following Peter's birth, my husband was brought onto active duty with the Army and we moved to the U.S.A. Years later, during an extended vacation in Germany, Peter observed passenger airliners flying past his grandparents home. He decided at this early age he wanted to become an airline pilot.
Our family eventually settled in Texas where Peter eventually gave his life to the Lord, and became active in our church's Royal Rangers program and earned the prestigous Gold Medal of Achievement, the highest honor for Royal Rangers
.
Peter finished High School acquiring his private pilot certificate in the process. In 2009, he entered an area college enrolling in the Aviation Department. In April of this year, Peter was honored as the top Aviation student and one of the three top students at Mountain View College for 2011.
Today, Peter is actively pursing his dream of becoming an airline pilot. He is already a Ground School and Simulator Instructor. He serves as the President of the Mountain View College Aviation Club, and is currently employed at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport where he works with Lufthansa Airlines. I consder the birth of my son a answered prayer. I wanted to give you this report and say: "Thank you for those prayers over 20 years ago."
Sincerely:
Andrea E. Steiert
