Welcome to Flame Think
Mission Statement: Flame Think provides devotional, and on-line religious support while providing various helps to strengthen ministries, enhance relationships (Christian traditional couples, marriage and family) and assist community awareness of critical incident and intervention issues.
History: Flame Think was established in November 2009 as a Ministry of Helps outreach. At this time, Flamethink is not a 501(c)(3) organization.
Name: Flame Think is derived from the following scripture references:
Acts 2:3 "And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them."
1 Corinthians 2:16 "For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ."
James 2:15-16 "If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, and one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?"
Flame Think challenges believers to:
1. Reach out for more from the Holy Spirit so that we may think and act as Jesus would.
2. Embrace the Holy Spirit allowing Him to utilize us to network with the entire Body of Christ more effectively.
3. Recognize that God expects us to be pro active in the welfare of our families, our churches and our communities.
Flame Think extended mission includes but is not limited to:
1. Expounding the Good News of God's salvation through Jesus Christ.
2. Providing a forum for readers to communicate concerns.
3. Educating the public on the current crisis of suicide among youth and adults.
4. Implementing and conducting Suicide Intervention workshops.
5. Implementing and conducting Critical Incident Stress Management workshops.
6. Implementing and conducting Marriage and Family Enhancement seminars.
7. Implementing and conducting specialized Children Enhancement seminars.
Founder and Director: Reverend Patrick J. Steiert is ordained by Mountain Creek Community Church of Dallas, TX and endorsed with the Chaplaincy of Full Gospel Churches. He is a 28-year veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves serving 10 years as an Infantry Officer and 18 years as a Chaplain. He has 20 years of pastoral experience. Reverend Steiert is a graduate of the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary (Springfield, MO) and an author of numerous feature articles and devotionals. He and his wife Andrea reside in DeSoto, TX.
